JKA is a boutique design studio founded in 2004 in Sydney, Australia. We specialise in education, master-planning and residential architecture.
Through our work, we aim to bring a sense of the extraordinary into everyday life.
We are passionate about environmental sustainability. We believe every designed and built or manufactured form (buildings, gadgets, artefacts) that requires resources needs to be aware of its environmental footprint and endeavour to maximise the use of renewal resources over non-renewal resources and resources that generate non-reusable waste.

Architecture & Interior Design
We provide architectural design services across several sectors and specialise in Education, Residential and Master-planning projects.
With over 20 years of architectural design and project delivery experience, we have a proven track record of delivering high quality architectural projects for our clients.
Design & Development Management
We offer design and development management services and sector expertise, as a consultant and on secondment, in master-planning and education projects to developers, contractors and our peers. We also provide senior resources on a freelance basis to manage or upskill peer consultants’ teams.
Graphic Design
Our obsession with form, composition, proportion and the visualisation of non-verbal ideas and data has translated into a hobby in graphic design.
We are keen students of the discpline and are continually absorbing the history and techniques of graphic design with each project.
